Theodore (formally know as Rainy Joy)
Theodore is the newest member of my family. I picked him from the San Francisco International Airport at 11:30PM last night. He was tired and hungry from a 12 hour and 3,000 mile day of travel but he still gave me a warm welcome.
Theodore is an “Old Soul” and has a real laid back and relaxed personality; he doesn’t act much like a kitten. He has a calming effect on you just by being in the room. We bonded immediately forcing me to take the entire day off from work. As I attempted to get some work done around the house Theodore followed me from room to room never being far behind. He is a true Love Bug and cant get enough petting and attention! He doesnt like to be picked up much but hes proven himself to be a great Lap Cat. After taking a nap together today I brushed Theodores long coat which is going to need frequent attention.
Theodore is a purebred Maine Coon kitten born in Richmond Virginia on January 2, 2016 and comes from the DreamCoon Cattery ran by Elena Mikirticheva. Elena is an accomplished award winning Maine Coon breeder in the USA, Europe, Asia and Russia. The Maine Coon is the largest domesticated breed of cat and one of the oldest natural breeds in North America. Theodore is a little less than 6 months old now and about the size of the average house cat. It will take him 5 years to reach his full mature size potentially weighing more than 20 pounds.

Theodore is doing great. He always wants to be where the action is. As I move around the house he's always close behind. One of his favorite things is sit in his cat tree an watch the birds in the bird feeder outside the window.
